Demolition of Plainfield High School in Central Village, CT took place during the summer 2005. All that remains now is the original PHS, also known as the Annex. These pictures were taken from July 15-September 18, 2005. The first picture was part of my strange photo essay project "Goth Pikachu Goes to Plainfield High School", shot on November 21, 2000.

The old Plainfield High School Annex, the original PHS built in 1924, still stands, though has been left to rot since the rest of the school was torn down in 2005. The school that was torn down contained the heating system for the old school, and as such, the building currently has no heat and any new occupants would have to install a new heating system. In August 2013, my old friend Lindsey was up from North Carolina and hadn't seen the school since it was torn down. The photos from that day were all taken through the windows.
